目前，“成就輝煌——60周年工程機械行業成就展系列評選”和“成就輝煌——60周年工程機械行業成就展征文”兩項活動已經進入到評選提名和文章征集階段，這些活動的舉辦將極大地豐富成就展覽的內容，也將為同期舉辦的BICES 2009展增添濃厚的行業風采。
BICES 2009展會概況
——室外面積已達到14萬平米，超過上屆全部展出面積

——國內展商所占比例明顯增加，三資企業和海外企業所占比例有所下降
目前，三一集團以超過5000平米的展出面積位居首位，其他企業如有徐工、中聯、特雷克斯、小松、斗山、現代、柳工、山推、玉柴、福田、神鋼等也將以較大面積參加BICES 2009。
本屆BICES 2009還以其“安全、環保，科技創新”的主題吸引了大批發動機企業如康明斯、五十鈴、珀金斯、洋馬、久保田，玉柴等，他們將展示各自應用最新技術研發的環保發動機產品，以應對新興市場對低排放、高效能發動機的需要。此外為中國的高速鐵路建設研發的新型混凝土機械、樁工機械，架橋機等，擁有巨大市場潛力的隧道及地鐵施工機械，高空作業機械也將成為展會的亮點。
中國阿拉伯友好協會、中國機械工業集團公司、中國化工施工企業協會、北京市建設工程物資協會建筑機械分會作為BICES 2009的新的支持單位，將促進相關國家和領域的觀眾組織。

以工程機械行業60年的發展、工程機械在國民經濟建設中的應用為主線，以發生在自己身邊的事件及所見、所聞、所感、所想為主要內容，反映工程機械行業的發展歷程、先進人物、重要事件、典型經驗以及行業所取得的成就，再現工程機械人難忘的經歷，留下感動的歷史時刻和珍貴的記憶。

人物、事件——對行業及企業重要人物和事件的記錄，個人的經歷和感受

內容積極健康，體裁不限（小說、戲劇除外）。要求文筆流暢，富有真情實感。字數在5000字以內。必須為原創作品，尚未公開發表。請自行保存底稿。

Construction Machinery Industry is an indispensable part of China’s machinery industry. Ever since the establishment of China, construction machinery industry started from scratch to weak and to strong, experienced 60 years full of ups and downs. A great deal of contribution has been dedicated to China’s modern construction. At the moment, China’s construction machinery industry has set a good example in innovation, image building and international development.
In order to celebrate 60th anniversary of China and to display the 60-year progress and achievements of China’s construction machinery industry, “Forging Success – Construction Machinery Industry Achievements Exhibition in Honor of 60th Anniversary of China”, sponsored by Machinery Confederation of China and China Construction Machinery Association and co-organized by China Construction Machinery Co.,Ltd. and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Machinery Sub-council, will be held from Nov 3 – 6, 2009 in Beijing Jiuhua International Exhibition Center, falling on the same period with 10th Beijing International Construction Machinery Exhibition & Seminar (BICES 2009).
Up to now, “Forging Success – Appraisal of Construction Machinery Industry Achievements in Honor of 60th Anniversary of China” & “Forging Success – Essay Contest of Construction Machinery Industry Achievements in Honor of 60th Anniversary of China” have entered into nomination appraisal & essay collection stage. The hosting of the activities will surely further enrich and diversify BICES 2009.
General information of BICES 2009
- Outdoor area over 140,000sq.m, larger than the total area of previous event;
- Currently 800 registered exhibitors, more than the number of exhibition in previous event;
- An obviously increased make-up percentage of domestic exhibitors.
At the moment, Sany Group ranked first for its 5000sq.m registered space. Other manufacturers such as XCMG, Terex, Komatsu, Doosan, Hyundai, Liugong, Shantui, Yuchai, Foton and Kobelco requested large area as well.
With the theme of “safety, environmental protection and science & technology innovation”, the upcoming BICES 2009 drew several engine manufacturers, such as ISUZU, Perkins, Yanmmar, Kubota and Yuchai and etc. They will showcase their environment-friendly engine products with the latest applications of technologies to better respond to the demand for engines with low emission and high performance in the new emerging markets. In addition, those new concrete machinery, pile-working machinery, bridging machinery and so on developed for the construction of high speed railway and those tunneling and subway construction machinery and high access machinery with huge market potential will be put into the spotlight of BICES 2009.
Joined by the new supporters such as China-Arab Friendship Association, China National Machinery Industry Corporation, China National Association of Chemical Construction Enterprises and Beijing Construction Materials Association, Construction Machinery Sub-association, the organization of the visitors in certain countries and fields will be better promoted.
As the top selection in the industry, BICES 2009 will witness another huge success of China’s construction machinery industry.

1. Topic: development, achievements and innovation
2. Requirements
Base on the 60-year development of construction machinery industry and applications in the national economic construction and what the author witnessed, saw, heard, perceived and thought to reflect the progress of construction machinery industry, outstanding people, key events, typical experience and great achievements and to flash back memorable experiences of construction machinery industry and touching historical events and memories.
3. Content
Industry development – revolutions and events in the industry development
Enterprise transformations – development progress and events of the enterprise
Products & technologies – technical research and development, typical project and applications
People & events – documentation of outstanding people and important events for the development of industry and enterprises, personal experience and feeling
4. Essay requirements
Content is promising and encouraging. There is no restriction on the type of the essay except that novel and drama are not allowed. Good wording and real feeling is highly promoted with less than 5000 words. Essay has to be original without being published. Original draft has to be kept by the author himself.
5. Duration
From July 1 – Oct 10, 2009
Organizing Committee will present the awards to the winners and compile those essays for publishing. The awards presenting ceremony of “Forging Success – Essay Contest of Construction Machinery Industry Achievements in honor of 60th Anniversary of China” will be held during BICES 2009.
