Shanghai, China – April 25, 2008 – The opening ceremony of the BASF Construction Chemicals roadshow took place today at the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum to explore effective solutions for green construction through interactive sessions with architects and developers.
In considering material selection, architectural design and application as a whole, the event is designed to delve into all-in-one solutions for green building by enhancing construction safety, durability, efficiency and style.

Energy-saving and environmentally-friendly materials are essential to green building construction. Good quality waterproofing materials, for instance, can help protect the construction and prolong the life span. The External Insulation Finishing System (EIFS) is a key element in enabling energy conservation and advanced flooring systems can meet the highest safety, hygienic and aesthetic standards, as well as enhancing the ambience of the rooms and reduce maintenance costs.
